Treasure Hills Wed 8 Nov

3 groups endured the 331 and battled there way to Treasure Hills.
The course was in very good condition and with an all in rate of 1250 baht (including cart) it was well worth the drive. Take note local courses who not only push the rates up Nov 1st declaring it high season, They have also increased cart/caddy fees!

Treasure Hills Wed 1 June

Treasure Hills is a tough course and very rarely do we see someone playing better than handicap, even with the generous slope rating applied. And that was again the case today. The course is not in as great a shape as it has been, but still very respectable in my view.

Nev Jolley, who's mate Murray Sheppard keeps losing beers against Nev even though Nev hadn't played for some time, finished in 3rd place with a respectable 33 points. Dennis Pelly had a great front nine and couldnt do much wrong, but bombed out on the back nine to finish with 34 points total for 2nd place. As can be expected at Treasure Hills, a lower handicapper took the honours for the day, with Jimmy Brackett doing wonderfully well to record a low 80's gross and 34 points. Jimmy also scored the only two on the day. Good job Jimmy!

After the game, we rushed back for the Aussie boys to enjoy their first State of Origin match and it turned into quite a good party as can be seen from the pictures. With shirts, flags and ample of support, we hope to see you at the the next State of Origin match in a couple of weeks!
